Abstract: A cost estimate is a prediction of future completion cost for a specific project based on available information. It is crucial to a project. It is used as a major measure to check project’s feasibility. It also serves as a project budget baseline. From different perspective, working emphasis and method is different. The purpose of this seminar is, from a Quantity Surveyor’s point of view, to explain the basic concept of estimate, estimate classification, estimating format and method and how to improve an estimate. This seminar is good for persons who newly join a consulting firm; helps them to understand what a Quantity Surveyor should know; it is also helpful for other parties participated in building construction industry examine Quantity Surveyor’s approach in this subject. |. e) e+ I4 m6 Q
