我今年2月底要去ALBERTA UNIVERSITY上学，有很多问题想问。

1、我的学期暂定为一年，请问在生活用品（包括已付、吃的、用的等）我应该带什么？
2、我去的目的是学习英语，要参加3初的一个考试，有人考过吗？我现在对考试一无所知。
不知道为什么我的心里忐忑不安。先问这些吧，谢谢！:)

No purpose, no goal equal to 0. it seems most of students like this style. OK, that's fine. The first thing in life is running. If you really want to go to U of A, you have to pass TOEFL or ESL 140 and 145 at U of A. The exam is very hard in anywhere, but I pass all of them. Do not worry, you also can pass if you work hard. You have to know why you come here and what will you successfully reach your goal after one year. Time is going fast although you plan to stay here for one year. In edmonton, you can buy everything and some of them is cheaper than in China. So I suggest you that you'd better bring enough money and your brave heart. Then everything is OK. Told you the truth, some of students feel very disappointed when they come here because they cannot control themselves. I am not sure about you. Just take my suggestion. Going out is not free, not play, but having life dependly and becoming mature and success in West country society.

Certainly, I hope I can kill two birds with one stone by studying English and auditting some courses about foreign trade. Do you study in the Alberta university? I wonder if you could help me in this respect. I want to know how to prepare for ESL 140 or 145? where can I find some materials of such examination. In fact, I'm very worry about it really.
