EXH Engineering Services Ltd. is a consulting engineering firm who specializes in; Surveying;Municipal Engineering;Materials testing;Bridge Engineering;Contract preparation and administration;Highway Engineering;Design using EMXS, Eagle Point and AutoCad;Structural Engineering. Our head office is in Red Deer, however, we have offices and employment opportunities across Alberta. Possible locations include Red Deer, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Grimshaw, La Crete, Slave Lake and Rocky Mountain House. Associated experience is an asset but not required. Opportunities include outdoor work, long hours and travel within Alberta. Positions are available immediately and for May 2005 located throughout the province. These positions are for graduate Civil or Geomatic Engineering Technology students. Job Description: Materials Inspector: Perform various supervisory, testing and inspection services on highway, municipal and bridge construction projects throughout Alberta. Testing of soils, gravels, asphaltic concrete pavements and concretes. Working as part of a Contract Administration Team. Surveyor: Perform various survey and inspection services throughout Alberta. Duties include data pickup, survey layout and quantity pickup working with Total Station instruments and computers. Design and drafting will be included in your duties. Salary Range: Commensurate with experience. Long hours and travel will be required.
