What to do if you are in a car accident

Step1. If possible, stop your car in a safe and visible place. If a car

0 U; ^: W! L- f; a* j+ z3 {6 HStep2. Determine if anyone is injured. Do not move an injured person.

Step4. If another vehicle is involved, get the car’s year, make, model , ~& S/ G) V5 E6 z0 O" {7 U
and license plate number; the driver’s name, address and license9 F! U6 K# u) F" s; y" J7 W3 {
number; and the name of his or her insurance company. If the ' ]9 x; Q9 y+ l* I) H7 g
driver does not own the car, get the name of the car’s owner. 5 ]) N6 [% q% {1 p
Write down names and addresses of other passengers or , O1 t6 N' H* B ^. J1 Q
witnesses. If you have a camera take pictures of the accident

Step6. Cooperate with the police, but do not admit guilt for the

Step7. Do not accept any money the other driver may offer. By

Step10. Report the accident to your insurance agent or insurance
