6 e$ c& L# G# O! eKey Responsibilities & Duties:

" S9 [0 G- F3 P3 W" Z Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
# X$ f/ ^' r. u2 b8 z1 X, ] Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
, t9 u5 @; }' d4 ?* _  w( v: B Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
  S( w! w, t2 N. ~ Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
9 \; m. q! m3 T# T6 m; h) k' o- | Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
+ V/ U% a2 A4 A  J9 t" S Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
# \9 Y  |& k8 h5 V( ` Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
; n7 J- L" W9 E' K8 t% E Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
