" S9 [0 G- F3 P3 W" Z Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.; z5 C; h6 H0 k/ b d, K/ Q
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
# X$ f/ ^' r. u2 b8 z1 X, ] Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 4 t& t" w( z; b& j. X/ s* l! x/ S& ]4 E
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.! v# W% n! b( w T( n' l( o
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
# \9 Y |& k8 h5 V( ` Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
; n7 J- L" W9 E' K8 t% E Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.4 x* }* N! i! u$ @3 O. _( X
 Knowledge of community resources.5 j3 [9 V, u4 W3 E2 }3 k' M! R
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.* k, l/ e9 R% D# Y' s
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. . G5 o( T$ e1 P: y, S6 F. k

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
