; h( \- g9 u8 A0 V2 w3 VDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
$ O/ `; g; b5 ~$ S* f2 xObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
|0 M6 {$ E7 `Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound) k5 E; o6 i! o" |. |1 m8 g
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
* j" |, R+ y( v+ D6 GOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions5 M1 f i4 m1 M% O# t
Performs related duties as required

Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.0 o* d" [8 k: ~$ ^5 A0 Z
High School diploma; previous driving experience required4 T, M2 |- P6 w# i7 f2 @/ R
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification! `& c; ]; Q" p6 E0 {& M
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
