. Q2 w) i, }3 p! h9 { Complete comprehensive intake and needs assessment process and develop referral and case plans to support newcomers in fully settling and participating in the community  
 Continue to follow-up with newcomers, EMCN staff and other service providers to ensure newcomers’ needs are met     
 Provide holistic counselling to individuals and families, including hands-on support with accessing resources and resolving difficult issues
, s/ }/ O+ F) W7 ]1 g$ e Advocate on newcomers’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers
 Research and maintain current information about programs and resources available in the community
 Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff of programs and services in the city and ensure EMCN clients access the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs
 Work as a team with EMCN staff to ensure holistic supports are provided to newcomers.

# j0 F9 j9 S( ~& b: w6 {8 n3 O Social work degree or diploma
" A! F  P, A. Z7 s Current RSW designation preferred   
 Demonstrated experience with holistic case management and supportive counselling
/ q: Y4 N" x4 q% v) G: C; a/ @ Knowledge of and experience in accessing a wide range of programs, services and supports available in the City  
$ G7 l. t* T: H) P Ability to effectively listen, assess needs and guide people in a supportive manner
 Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
 Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
% q# \5 U! m) z/ q Ability to perform variety of diverse tasks under time pressure.
