There should be plenty of openings for Java development with some big and small companies, as far as I know. Of course all this depends on your experience. It should not be that hard to find a job in this area.- u2 D; _+ p1 t, d, c
) w( M3 n% o n, z( dAs for Main Frame, I know there are some companies are still doing the maintenance work for a lot of the legacy systems, which are still heavily been used by organizations like Health, Telus, Transportation, Banks etc. I'm afraid there won't be any development work any more. But if you are still willing to do the maintain work (at least for a transition period before you find a better job), it should not be that hard either. There are so many mainfraim developers in our company and even my group. j z3 E1 ~9 @, N* {
