4 [  |0 h% U/ n# @( rTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
9 }3 b7 l) p& J) u) _1 I9 fReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:5 g( i1 f* Z' j/ D+ J; u; b
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.- W6 g2 v# h6 v) I  Z( R( T
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
* B: W& |, X! e  L$ u•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.0 a( H: ]2 z6 W- K/ {
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
0 O( X3 q* R3 E•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 6 w4 u4 `, U- ^' U; x
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
: Y+ e5 ]8 ]( X( r5 C! A/ ]•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
+ [+ H( U8 c9 E) v5 _( [•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
! o$ e0 d& n, F, l+ P) R•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).3 r) [$ q: H* J
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
* O7 }. N2 l5 @$ M0 n  y•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.  X+ j; W2 L, D% l9 i+ y; G* V
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.1 t6 P6 w* X6 ^5 b
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
0 U0 G/ P6 }& W2 `  y1 Q•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.0 f  K! E$ w7 U6 k
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
" u/ ?4 F, C* o1 D7 ~! }" I9 @Requirements:
* |- \% Z$ U1 n•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ; X* B1 ?! e! R( U6 u9 l& d; \5 L+ x0 x8 g
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. * a* P3 b1 l5 {! E9 L3 A
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 0 f4 R9 [' R" F& }4 i4 e9 e
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.' @8 A1 j0 F0 V, w+ R# k& U% F1 R
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.$ c# l2 h$ ?; x# Q8 N, D8 Y! Y
