Anticipated Start Date: The candidate is required to work immediately4 V! ~3 t6 K# s0 e4 `
: y3 o3 x% E4 I; YPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

1 y4 `. s" U% ]7 x9 b# I0 ]$ L• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
$ w7 I6 ^7 v, G/ q- G$ C1 l; ?• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
, w: _, f! {3 u( O3 X! o- r+ O• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
' m$ o- e5 C5 o2 _# d3 j% T$ D* s• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter% k3 {3 V* d! r, m+ Y0 Q# y
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
5 \3 A& M- @0 X4 E• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
7 l" d) H4 l% G3 G, }' v• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
, R, Z. {. m- m! E% q7 i• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
( o* c# F9 N: Q( S5 O1 l) P• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
; g' g/ R) s0 p# {+ v! b! S( L• Good English writing and oral communication skills
& @$ |8 F( ^9 {4 l. I$ N! ~• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
4 m$ v' E' X# X" [* ^# L• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced office environment

. Q3 @! R6 l) _# m4 MQualifications:
, I" i! w" {$ S9 a+ g• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
: W+ Q8 V8 V- i" v! h• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment+ \, H5 }3 O$ D/ x) I" T* g
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism8 g: j+ v v) @1 t" X
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
