Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales5 e X3 a9 j- D! ~. u) q [

Key Responsibilities:
0 I5 z* e, G# S: j$ ]/ v: R
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
- L: N' V5 P9 A7 T4 ]/ p
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.
; U0 C4 q0 T& X3 }6 O& g2 B
• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
& ^+ S3 x! M' {8 O/ s, V
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.4 h) a6 j$ b% \8 |

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

Job Qualifications
0 S6 { Z. t+ H+ ?' ?8 \6 O• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

5 P) y! b% k6 z3 W) G) ]• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

0 R$ L# Z) \$ x3 m2 e% o1 V3 u• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
6 m2 z/ A$ o0 I: @, T2 J* `! T
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
6 i' G+ b* ]- W) m4 d! B
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.# f, f2 t! i. O2 V) m, _2 J

• Travel within the assigned region.

7 g/ o4 x- s1 h3 W9 F% W• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
