本周一，在SUNCOR 和 SYCRUDE之间，一个只有23岁的工程师开小车打滑撞上了大车，送医院后不治而去。
据说是中国人。不知道有没有认识的？如果能跟个贴，说不准热心人可以为家属提供点方便什么的。

Police have named the man who died in Monday’s crash north of Fort McMurray on Highway 63.
3 e5 u9 c, p( @; s2 v) d; WAlan Alexander Wong, 23, died from injuries resulting from the early-morning head-on collision. Wong lived in Fort McMurray, but his family is from British Columbia, police said earlier this week.

/ r2 }* u" ]7 b( H* zThe crash happened when Wong, heading south in a small Mazda car, lost control due to weather and road conditions and hit a gravel truck and tractor unit. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.
4 a; i% z- k) u, f% `9 PThe driver of the truck was not injured. Police said Tuesday they did not expect to lay charges.

我今天试了一编，先点一下刹车，别太狠，然后等刹车回来时马上在轻点，第三下看速度应该在40以下，可以在刹死。注意体会，减速很快的，不用ABS。哈哈哈哈，在介绍一个不用汽车点火器的办法，冬天太冷，所以一般都装汽车点火器，我不想装便宜的，贵的又舍不的，所以我用两个钥匙，一个打火，一个把车锁上，又方便又便宜。

你就打着火不用锁了,一般你那车要丢还不那么容易,现在这时候你要想偷车的话,早上随便找个小区进去,门前都多了打着火没锁门的车.

He was from Hongkong and his family is in BC now. I worked in the same building with him, but never talked with hime before. He just joined our company in Oct and was once co-op student here. Somebody told me he might miss the corporate bus in the morning and rushed to work by his own small car. So some advice from me is Don't stay late in the night and get up early, take corporate bus to work; Don't try drive you own car on 63 highway. If your vehicle is robust like a tanker, I don't blame you, otherwise, Don't try it.

How can you start the car if there is no remote starter ? The cost of remote starter is around 700-800 bucks here from the dealer, but next time when you can go to Edmonton, ask drauto to istall it for your, it wil be cheaper.

如果没有REMOTE STARTER就用两把钥匙吧。一把点火，一把开门。很多人都是这么用的。

4 Y$ d$ \  i. E9 E' U当天知道了消息后，没来得及发到这里，大家手都很快。
补充些背景资料，据说，是CO-OP学生才来实习不超过1周。住在FTM市内，自己驾车往公司上班，工作单位不便公布（免得侵犯别人隐私）。出事地点是在SUNCOR往SYNCRUDE方向，接近SYN的黑牛处出事的。同事都很奇怪，因为那段路不难走，双道+隔离岛好像。听说已经迟到了，驾驶员为了赶路。路面部分地段有个别暗冰，+高速路行驶经验不足或已经过了难开的路段了思想上麻痹大意了。。。。。。

很为这个哥们惋惜，一份相当不错的薪水，一个可爱的家庭。。。。。。血的教训再次提醒大家：为了自己和家人，请注意行车安全！

抱歉没有注意到，上面已经有回复了。其实即使有ABS，采用三脚刹车方法也是很不错的。。。。
