Yesterday, the Academic Planning Committee of the General Faculties 7 D; T# y/ N( f: h4 [' `
Council met to discuss the tuition proposals. I have both good and bad

9 h( T* {, @. S0 J5 d! ~. nFirst, the good news. The committee decided to grandfather all current 5 b' i9 h. q6 H! r q9 I+ S8 V8 M
undergraduate international students from the increase to the 9 {* |2 V4 |6 O: \
differential fee. This means that next year, all current international

tuition increase that all students face (the proposal calls for 5.75%).
$ H/ I1 } \/ \) `1 r* K# tAlso, the administration decided to withdraw their motion to increase 1 D8 w- o: q$ C
the differential for international graduate students.
