I really don't know and never thought it can be directly translated but I suddenly thought of some words that I never used, when I was driving on my long commute this morning:
$ S% _ q+ H" h. T zwhat about clichéd ...
* H5 \5 J5 G* S* C( J% h2 r) A# ^! l1 X3 K* p
' Q! {. k7 O; ?! _, h, q8 qcliché really means overused, predictable, 陈词滥调, 了无新意. for example, in chinese shows, to imply that a woman is pregnant , she will always suddenly rush into the washroom and start to vomit, that's a cliche scene. so cliche!
0 I& Y, s, A; A# r6 Q- W2 ~but not rouma at all.
& i9 l$ E' d0 r. b4 @9 o1 @so far I think "cheesy" is really THE word, as per the slang dic. |
