A little boy was overheard praying:
"Lord, if you can't make me a better boy,
don't worry about it.
. L/ k& n3 D  Q- lI'm having a real good time like I am."

After the christening of his baby brother
in church, Jason sobbed all the way home
in the back seat of the car. His father asked
; s  \. x+ l, _& S2 X3 V# Qhim three times what was wrong. Finally, the
0 C% F) E2 F. xboy replied, "That preacher said he wanted
5 v+ _( A$ X7 Kus broght up in a Christian home, and I wanted
to stay with you guys."
9 z  V) g! b( }9 S& W* N& e
One particular four-year-old prayed,
3 y5 l  ?; n5 ?- _' X# [9 }"And forgive us our trash baskets as
5 [# X; q! F- Q! n* E* Pwe forgive those who put trash in our
) h3 P. K* F/ V! Q. P1 v' t* ?baskets."

+ w+ l; J: U6 R* Q* j2 c8 iA Sunday school teacher asked her
2 ?4 N8 c4 `- Uchildren as they were on the way to
Church service, "and why is it necessary
1 n& ~8 B5 P9 @8 ]( X8 lto be quiet in Church?"
One bright little girl replied,
( t2 g; A6 D. J4 \# w; z  }! L$ I: O5 J"Because people are sleeping."

( V& D+ A5 o; I- L4 f% Y* DA mother was preparing pancakes for
her sons, Kevin 5, and Ryan 3.
" E+ Q& q! v; L2 x5 m' s$ T' D! kThe boys began to argue over who would
get the first pancake.
. Z: ?* b3 N+ |: a6 q: B- n: eTheir mother saw the opportunity for a
- w3 f( V" K! b5 K& A: zmoral lesson. "If Jesus were sitting here, He
( S! W% M8 T$ uwould say, 'Let my brother have the
5 [' n" Z3 f' n: v3 ^4 _first pancake, I can wait' ."
Kevin turned to his younger brother and
2 ~4 U2 W0 c2 }/ Jsaid, " Ryan , you be Jesus !"

. U4 I- \% S0 X; ]9 @8 @A father was at the beach with his children
6 ]+ M8 N! G3 S$ Kwhen the four-year-old son ran up to him,
grabbed his hand, and led him to the shore
where a seagull lay dead in the sand.
' H0 ~' C. w5 X4 ?1 B1 W1 b1 h"Daddy, what happened to him?" The son asked.
. `/ h% a; ^6 S8 N" U+ w"He died and went to Heaven." The Dad replied.
The boy thought a moment and then said,
/ h5 S3 h$ f  E0 x% t- p"Did God throw him back down?"

+ [( _0 {" }2 h( CA wife invited some people to dinner.
: [5 m" K0 I7 [) R2 gAt the table, she turned to their six-year-old
+ B9 {  z4 ^  t( cdaughter and said, "Would you like to say the
( ~/ S1 a8 L1 V+ }6 h( vblessing?" "I wouldn't know what to say." The
7 N( q7 a7 B3 B% i' {9 vgirl replied. "just say what you hear Mommy say."
The wife answered. The daughter bowed her head
9 E$ t# S) t3 W$ P2 G# ]and said, "Lord, why on earth did I invite all these
% {% _) X% M- ^people to dinner?"

Recently I gave my just-turn-four son a scolding for his misconduct.
! A$ w" A. V' Q- t: X& m- [2 S"Don't be selfish!" I said.
My boy's eyes turned red, and yelled back at me with his fists tightly clentched: "Don't call me fish!"
+ j* n, Y: R9 v1 [4 d; h! x% N: }# yI was a little pazzled at the moment, but his following words helped me out: "I am not a shell fish!"
