Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

' o( \8 G$ o3 P; p( G6 XResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers

i1 z; y% B4 e# |. {% A. YWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
! D/ s/ Y& j- H( P1 XEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
^8 b* D. J. }( l, }4 ?* b7 p0 MDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP/ Y+ h/ H0 e F4 K2 o& _* o1 Z
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Qualifications: D( h4 Y: W7 V/ b
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program. t3 V0 L$ V3 C
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
5 E& Z+ V! H& F+ J' T9 UMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
4 O7 U+ k# }% l' FExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)( N' U# L1 M7 k, E; l
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills$ ^1 j, B. O* Y4 w7 Q) x+ }
