Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.7 o- ?8 V R8 Y# C9 k
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
& J6 Z" {! Q# ?( m- s0 L4 oOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.
; A( n7 v( m% B& ?/ r' F5 JThe male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
