Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
  J0 h3 p6 m: c  Z•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
, p: e% H& {0 b# [9 J# |0 d; F•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
; F) J: N- L: `* E' d% d  Y•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
: z$ O, ]- R  G1 T( C% V4 L•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
' T9 N$ P+ W$ o- E( t; M1 _•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
$ k2 A, q7 h' y. p9 W•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

: X: b7 v3 \' @# W! ~$ f4 v2 N* X$ mQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
1 j6 Q9 c) t" N•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
- j  W! M& ~, i; l# L! f( k" q•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
  l, \: A% j: [! K•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
