# E) `1 o1 w0 ~% n6 R. K% \  L2 \Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
% H: n! R- |2 j$ y  T•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
; I( l) N- u, p•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
1 i- _- ]4 d3 i6 f* k* h•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
; J4 N2 \- r8 ^. Z! u•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
: x( l9 v' d( C1 n3 j•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
" u& s4 J' S) Q6 Q- \•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
* i* E8 B# V$ ~6 d1 ~•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

- a$ D* ~: [* B  g# bQualifications
4 i2 z. h/ S7 o6 S•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
& E/ u, {8 x; q* ?* A! O6 I2 H•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
6 w3 b6 ^: C* j•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
