! B& n% A- l2 dResponsibilities:
( Z0 p2 ^. N$ d; {- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- G$ T/ x6 R* ~, w9 u9 q- Recruit children for summer program
6 ^" Z; ?" ^- |% o8 k- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
: e5 X$ s0 f. w8 r4 g' q- Prepare final report for funding agency

* \8 R# m7 G! t- h3 v$ [; w' iQualifications:
: T! b  d: I% W+ y# p+ H
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
2 }2 B/ o. `6 N, C6 A# _- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
  Q2 M% F/ f! ]! t3 d- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
0 i* A! i# K$ J9 L6 S- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
; M; _9 y5 U* p' H: m4 X& L- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
