+ i' r& I3 k' s* N! ^8 AYesterday we counted the Ballots for our Local Union Elections and if you haven’t already heard we were successful and I was elected to be the new Business Manager/Financial Secretary of Local Union 424. This would not have occurred without all your hard work, dedication and commitment, so I would like to thank each and every one of you for your help.

I would also like to extend my thanks to the retirees committee for all the grueling work they performed tirelessly on behalf of the membership in their capacity as Election Judge and Tellers. K比T刚好多了500来票，莫非......

马达说得有道理，T与K正好差500票，相信鞋会会长的“功劳”很大，据俺所知，至少超过一半的中国电工投了K，其中很多人都对26与T先生这种不负责任地扩招不满，哈哈。

从结果看来，即使再多500华人电工，并且全部投TIM的票，他也还比K少11票。这个结果不知道主张统一选TIM的人们有何感想？

在投票截止的前一个周五也就是在6月11号，T将300permit紧急纳为会员，并立刻发选票让他们投票希望以此扭转颓势，结果还是落后5百多票，有多达3分之一的差距。一个现任business manager 一个老奸巨猾的政客何以惨败如此？比较这次选举与上次选举的不同：上次选举T没有‘协会’的支持，T赢得了选举；这次选举T得到了‘协会’的鼎力支持，有Mr26声称的‘5百中国电工’做后盾，结果T输了5百多票。看来这‘5百中国电工’多半都是投了T的对手K的票。T现在懊悔莫及，自己上演了一出现代版的‘皇帝的新装‘。诺不是相信了Mr26这个小裁缝的话，选举结果还真的不好说。

毕竟这年头谁都不傻，投票的时候当然考虑最多的是与自己利益相关的因素。认为“只要肤色相同，语言文化习俗相同就必然利益点也相同”的人恐怕不多。
