1. It's cool:cool
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
7 z6 k1 @ q' }7 m& C That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.+ L/ f- W+ }! D
9 @$ ]8 |3 K- W Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)# a/ m/ L; x7 }9 F
^) b! H1 k4 x
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
' B1 P4 r, A+ o6 o
+ ]- m; S& r4 J% D* f# j' E1 b She (He) was cool in the past.
' `* R. F/ S+ L+ B* e& C8 y2 j/ H% g k5 W$ W
That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)7 G3 Y" s' b, C( t& t/ a. Z/ w. W) ?3 T5 \

He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
2 h% ]; Y5 W4 @( A* N6 t7 c, F$ Q3 G( G S! a9 p! b
但是如果说:Are you cool?
7 M5 k% E; \) R. Q
$ K- X- I! R' O& Z) s3 m9 T+ U She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not6 Y7 u# ^1 @. M% n1 K5 Y2 a8 s" ^: e! _

emotional.

2. Are you trippin'?:trippin' 这个字,是由动词 trip 演变而来。 这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
' M( j# E" Q- l) O5 A
; |, W) p* B# ~ f! q7 B( z7 ~6 t* W They are trippin'. (= tripping) O7 _4 t g/ q; c0 S4 A/ U( j4 X N/ A

, I! s8 L' x5 ~, J2 I Mr. A must be trippin'.

- S( o2 P; a+ h$ o6 E! B

3. He is a nerd:nerd (A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.) (IQ = Intelligence Quotient ; EQ = Emotional Quotient) nerd 可用复数,动词也能用其他时态。因此可以说:/ [% D0 x3 f; I: H; W N- B
3 B# ~2 G" F# u4 ?& @5 ^
He used to be a nerd in high school.
& m0 E& C7 h0 ^4 j+ y b S" K& H' I$ `, J. C1 b* }
Many Chinese students are(或 have been)considered nerds.# O" ]! O" c; a, v! B1 p

He is a computer geek. (意思是:虽然他是书呆子,但电脑很棒)$ a0 S' M4 ?5 m1 N* \* b$ F

2 n- {& Z& y! M! T) s& x/ [: T1 L
I don't like him because he is a jerk.

. j% T d1 L( a9 I- F- F, L E* Y3 [. v6 K
yo”,由於女子很漂亮,很吸引人,他想与她交谈。(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:' K7 g& L! k" v) [" Y0 ^: }

诸如:$ b" C U, F0 A9 E3 l# V/ t4 A3 L

May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.
' S3 P( N4 w M5 n% @. \# P
+ X4 f: j/ V/ y3 A, j C$ u1 H W0 R
d) S% A3 H$ E. \
Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)

5. Catch you later! (a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)% r2 C! F. D( Q4 }2 g# H
