7 T. w9 T' c' V& B" \5 CDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
- {7 a) S9 U3 h9 ?, e0 b6 F& GCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

2 T$ ~9 n* b7 g) Y+ m Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
( h  }, Q- v# u* w2 \1 G. K. C Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
+ l4 v' e5 g& I9 I8 [: D$ Y Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
7 w( S& \6 _$ {$ H6 ? Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
/ D7 c$ L' j0 {" e8 n5 D; A8 [% u Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
/ t, Y4 x; N; \0 C0 P! h4 \3 L Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
6 F% g' c# X9 A5 L0 [4 e Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
8 m/ h0 I5 Q- T& A7 }3 ] Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

" i# m2 c0 f: `' m+ K9 ^ Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
0 u5 d( ?& E& q: h3 S+ A A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
  J* G5 ^& V" y Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
& |" ]3 {% K  W8 L Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
& E$ H# n$ F/ j5 N7 k+ K" N! k5 Y# q Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
1 C- E! w0 u+ @( M1 m Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
# V! \  t7 v3 V/ D* g5 C
