Through a suite of programs and services for entrepreneurs, companies, researchers and investors, Tech Futures is a one-stop shop that provides technical services and funding support to facilitate the commercialization of technologies, to develop new knowledge-based industry clusters and to encourage an entrepreneurial-based culture in Alberta.
Division/Portfolio Overview Our Analytical Services Portfolio located in Vegreville works with private and public sector clients to identify contaminants and provide monitoring designs.
Position Overview We require a technologist to perform routine analyses on samples pertaining to research projects and fee for service clients in our inorganics and organics laboratories. The successful candidate will log and prepare samples for analysis; perform instrumental analysis; calibrate and maintain equipment; and perform other duties as required.

Computer and quality assurance and quality control knowledge are essential. You must have strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Our Inorganic Environmental Analysis Program deals with inorganic elements and compounds.
