Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.' `  X. F/ C" E3 D) O* Z+ y
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:9 h" e% Z. D4 N& e& y8 |
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment." Z1 E/ G# }4 L& b! d/ B: P, U# K
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
# `6 H" t: t7 i& z  w, K7 P•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.+ i4 ~4 v$ c- p( g+ _6 O. }
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.0 T1 x) U( b* C8 P7 N- x' m# b
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
' w/ Q1 {: L( g: ~& {9 X( F+ T•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
& ^  T" b$ T* K: a9 o$ @•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
; h. X( h! T, O4 p! U8 M•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.$ m: W1 [( k9 r: {) v
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).# g0 Q" M: C4 r1 V, J( L  v3 W$ c2 c
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
8 V# r" X4 k& r  C, t•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
* ~) L8 b* M/ _•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.8 @$ r( C3 J$ h2 D# @( B
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
7 i) L" K3 Z- A, h•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.7 A: w6 v2 Z# r* P
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

1 G/ R1 l: ]9 I! A. Q' d& gRequirements:
& |# b6 w/ z5 ?: m% i9 x  c•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
$ U; Y/ N7 y2 D% k•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
$ s0 [5 E4 P4 v( H•        Strong Union Relations experience required. - j3 i  \! j0 X* C1 y0 B
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
6 _4 r) Q  r) z1 l2 Y, X•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
