Q7 c3 i/ ~% DPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. . r/ H d! n" ?/ F$ g

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person8 T9 B7 [' r5 u- Q) N0 Q; `. j
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST3 g8 U9 D6 n+ f( U3 R5 m; l4 Q5 ?
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately. J$ c; o6 R) N. [
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter( I! I. l: i6 z. } w
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
* V7 q( c( A" e8 j• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
; _1 y& u! ?" c6 U/ T• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
# K! r |6 R9 W* b/ ]) W• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events# b' t* i0 ?9 s) Z0 }0 g
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean
; d2 c4 ?0 }' y& K w• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters
; v- n8 }8 F: w9 l8 Z• Maintain front counter service files! a& Z/ S- s6 n& a, g
• Perform general office duties as assigned* L) M3 Z3 B* I& `

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
" A% {! T4 p. D. b- O0 {• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person0 H. j& r5 T2 O) c+ F! m
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset! ]( P* Q9 N& v! ^
• Good English writing and oral communication skills

• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:! t( k8 {: }" k5 v# Y
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 9 h) N5 b# F" t' E
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment, c. h' C4 S" }" L/ I
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
8 l. O& U5 J* u4 E- R5 d% Q8 o• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
