The Family Law Office, a program of Legal Aid Alberta, is looking for an intermediate or senior level Legal Assistant to join its existing staff. Located in Calgary, Alberta, the Law Office provides Family Law legal services and representation to low-income clients.

2 B  R: j# S0 W  j5 H9 _Reporting to the Administrator/ Manager, the Legal Assistant is responsible for providing legal assistance and support to staff lawyers on client files.

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary diploma or certificate from a recognized legal assistant program; a minimum of 4 years experience as a legal assistant in the area of family law, or a combination of experience and education.

Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are required to meet the needs of this demanding position.  The Applicant must be flexible and willing to work in a high-paced team environment.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.
