Work Hours: 10h/d, depending on shift cycle, overtime at 1.5 times regular wages

: A2 |$ v  V( i* cResponsibilities and Tasks
1 y1 t7 i; T, \        Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  ^+ |; ]7 b) l+ n) z+ |+ J- l6 @: i        Rebuild and/or repair production machinery and systems on site
        Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
        Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
$ d; ^$ w0 @7 o& w        Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
        Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
: p3 ~8 B4 S* k! W2 x% [        Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions, reporting of all suspect facility and operational issues
$ U0 C; ~- y; Y" x$ w        Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
) Q+ [# e8 `& i0 i3 Q        Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
        Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
9 n* E2 D8 f$ L7 C. p        Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations
7 I: @0 m- g/ u" R% X' u        Provide support to the manufacturing operations, positively interacting with customers for timely resolution of production/equipment concerns
        Actively participate in the safety program of Iyinisiw
        Other tasks related to industrial equipment as may be required during the course of business

  I3 y) n; x) d, [-        Completion of secondary school
% |: e; W, g5 I-        Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in industrial machinery repair or for millwrights
: A. c" K& O% N-        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
-        Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  e) p, b' a8 h-        Industrial mechanic (millwright) trade certification is considered an asset
8 U3 E" h" ]2 q& b( p3 q( o) l. w2 c-        Safety tickets are considered an asset

-        Valid driver’s license is an asset
