7 e% L# i! W7 t: \& rTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
1 W0 s7 r. X3 z9 d8 d• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
1 _/ M- s9 Q3 N) V- Y( A• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
8 g# a+ ]* q; V* o( v3 s• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;6 f3 ^! h) ~/ P
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.0 d4 M5 \& a' F, _
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;% }4 o4 x- n' x, F6 @1 z: J; K
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
% L  t* Z/ {; s9 e8 Y• Participate in trade shows;
' o  }) v( N$ B4 ]4 b• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;8 r& b5 S" U3 o1 i& N- F
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;/ o- m; ^" R+ c) o4 o  p( ?/ t
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
$ ^  V6 y5 D, A• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

: Y4 n+ n1 B- g3 F! v•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property8 v$ D% S/ |8 l
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
7 E+ Q0 T; X8 Q4 p1 l• Ability to lead and develop;7 ~8 f3 x* H6 r/ o
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
0 R8 Y# x! L0 o! B• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;$ n+ E0 u3 X$ X. O
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;( p+ W2 U0 C# \% ~
• Ability to work within deadlines;

• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;% u' c2 X9 i! L- e
