Position Summary:
) H# C0 W; [9 h" J- Z1 D6 `To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

6 }  s/ h3 h3 A4 M" Q- c2 w/ DPrimary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
. [! ?  Q4 w5 s2 b    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
# A: J& k! I' q& i    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
( w$ ^- F$ E9 ?5 M$ ~    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

( n' M# w6 v% w/ `    High School and or Post Secondary Education
7 B8 }! a  r% e" J, r9 N6 I; U2 G    Previous customer service experience
    Previous sales experience an asset
7 k2 V( d  J: F4 k/ `$ n/ Z    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
5 v( _$ o! J1 ~% @% Q    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
5 b( O* U6 g$ ?* T0 ^% w. b, d    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
