前驱sedan能在圣诞期间开到温哥华吗？

2002年的chevy  impala, 没什么毛病，比较新的四季胎，如果想在圣诞假期开车到温哥华再开回来，可行吗？

better to have the snow tires coz you have to drive to out of town, it will be very dangerous if you drive over the "balck ice" without the friction due to the all season tires. Also, the front wheel is another potential risk if the front wheels loss control, the rear wheels do not work at all. All in all, base on the above info, my suggestion is do not take the risk.
Another option is take the plane and rent a car. Less risk and easier, then, more fun!

Thanks for your comments. Maybe I need to consider to change to winter tires.

赶快换雪胎，买个紧急备用电池放车上，刹车啥的出发前都送去检修下。千万不要有漏油之类的问题。

5号公路比较危险，建议走一号公路，快到温哥华那儿，从hope往后走下山那段路要小心了，其他的还行，对了要换雪胎。

对，discovery 频道现在每周二都有个节目叫 highway thru hell，说的就是5号公路发生的种种混乱，这条公路虽然宽阔，但海拔高降雪多。1号公路路程长，路幅窄，但海拔低，基本还算土厚水甜。
