CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
/ @9 ^# O: o! a+ I) q# S# X
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

9 }% }+ Z1 @) M· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

2 ?# D4 a9 G- E1 ?) J3 R· Operate manual and automatic shifts

; Q+ a3 M! s& W· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

' P4 D/ S: R9 T4 l# h5 T· Minimum 3 years experience

% R$ u, T) ^1 f· Valid Class 1 license
, u6 l# X4 W; u+ t  L
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification
; A6 W$ l) j, I7 N+ B
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills
! g% k4 U( S0 S5 s) }3 }; h
· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)
, N- C1 h7 B) c2 F
· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
