爱民屯警察真在调查周日（九月21日）清晨发生的两起杀人事件，这分别是咱屯本年度发生的第20和21起谋杀案。

第一起事件发生于whitemud drive附近，一位30岁的男子死于枪击，警察称之为黑帮火并。

大约山地时间清晨2:20左右，警察接到报警电话，在whitemud drive,170street附近，一辆银色Infiniti正遭到枪击。

目前尚未发现嫌疑人，也没有人被拘捕。

Edmonton police are investigating two killings from early Sunday morning, the city's 20th and 21st homicides of the year.

+ P, w  Q/ I3 g4 c* \In the first incident, a 30-year-old man is dead in what police are calling a "gang motivated" shooting near Whitemud Drive, the Edmonton Police Service said in a press release.

At approximately 2:20 a.m. MT, the EPS responded to a call of shots fired at a silver Infiniti near a Whitemud Drive overpass at 170th Street.

The driver of the car was found dead at the scene.

One male passenger fled from the vehicle before police arrived, and reports indicate a small white car was seen fleeing the scene after the shots were fired.

& s. O4 W7 t5 n9 |6 QThe circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation, but police believe the incident is not random and is likely gang-related.

Meanwhile, one male is dead and another is in police custody after an altercation between two groups in an alley early Sunday morning, according to an EPS press release.

At approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.

# h* d' D, w  \" qUpon stopping the car, the officers learned that one of the passengers, a 24-year-old male, was seriously injured.

He was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

A police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.

6 p3 O  y) v3 o) ?, C$ K  EThe three suspects were located by police immediately following the vehicle stop. A 32-year-old male is in custody and charges are pending.

Officers are investigating the circumstances that led to the altercation.
