9 M7 }" v' a. c. Q) i  E4 l/ }; U-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
       (ages 6 to 15)
& {: s% Z( g0 H8 s2 S-        Recruit children for summer programs
- H8 ]' ^% X% ^3 O5 I7 W7 q% P8 ^, l1 ?; n  V-        Recruit volunteers for summer programs
# B5 m7 G. A1 W9 V: l2 ?/ S( k-        Record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
( P7 H! ^- X  @  A, M' U# V-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

) P+ U, o* ]' Y7 ~Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
$ ]0 H' B8 e' G-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
9 z% Q7 C- _* R, n/ ~-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
: A' a# ?9 L4 d" C$ l* U/ }-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
1 w+ N5 `" Y8 _6 ~/ r7 f" F-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
: ~/ M) T" n5 W-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
, ]$ p1 u6 q# N  v  d-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
* G' @9 N/ P( f+ k8 s: z-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
7 Q6 J' e: j  c-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)   
# n% X: i" {" S  [& `, w        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
% u/ X' ^; T# F-        $15 per hour
