FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 7 P8 S) W3 Y: B

screenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
( O+ i5 L: Z5 A% Y5 h* e3 bFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as 5 K3 R& u) t8 P& ?6 A+ F3 a% Y1 c
well as the script, magazine and book library.

9 l; H" V9 B6 y |* F, ?- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library / a1 N `. ?% d; c* c7 i1 ~
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books 5 ~ A8 ~ g: _0 V2 T
- Implement a catalogue template for future use 7 Y; p- z/ i& y; w* i
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 7 J, E# J6 H D
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
