The Chinese has a long history of using fire. They use the chopsticks to fetch the food when the food is cooked by fire. No matter Chinese or foreigners, they all marvel at the invention of Chopsticks, though nobody knows when it was invented and who invented it.

People used the lever principle ingeniously to make the two simple sticks,which become extension of the human fingers.The invention of the chopsticks is not only revolution of the Chinese cooking culture, but also the sign of a kind of civilization.

        It is not appropriate to knock the bowl by your chopsticks because the begger usually do it to beg food or money by knocking their bowls to attact the passerbys' attention. It is considered very irreverent to prick your chopsticks in rice because people do it for the death.
