Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
% j" [" m8 X8 M& \$ Y% S  _3 AResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
$ e# i; l8 ~% T& _+ g* qProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
$ C- }7 k" F# I- PWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
+ R3 t* ^7 H. U' RDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

  I; S9 R5 b. l9 eTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
! \/ P3 W0 H  lRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
% T/ A6 I7 t  P8 {1 R. A# BMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
