Position Title: Structural/Mechanical Engineering Technologist
% \! V8 O" x8 M4 OJob Description/Duties: Utilizing AutoCAD and its 3D operations, modify existing heavy haul trailer designs and details to meet customer specifications. Occasional new concept designing and detailing of trailer components and mechanics. Bending moment, shear stress analysis, and various other mechanical design calculations performed as required. Liaising with shop personnel to ensure designs are time efficient and structurally/mechanically sound. Formulating electronic bill of materials and sending required drawings to vendors for cutting of profile parts. Electronic file management of drawings.
Qualifications: Alumni/new graduate of Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
