Position Title: Mechanical Design/Drafting
Job Description/Duties: LRI Oil Tools Inc. is an ISO 9000 registered manufacturer of specialty oilfield equipment. We utilize the latest in CNC laser cutting technology to manufacture our products, and, on a contract basis, those of our customers. The successful individual requires a high degree of independence and initiative. Working closely with staff and management in engineering and production, her/his responsibilities include: Using Solidworks 2005/AutoCAD 2000 to create CAD files from sketches, samples, customer drawings, and descriptions. Using CAM software , to create cut files for laser cutting systems. Creating and modifying drawings for oil tools and components. Storing, retrieving, and modifying digital files in an ordered and systematic fashion. Assembly and QA of expanding product line. Other duties as required. This position is a full time position (40 hours per week), typically from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Circumstances may require evening or weekend work on occasion.
