Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

* U6 i- s& D) o- Organize focus group(s)
0 r) j: [7 E5 y- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
; f; S! q& |' h5 H- Provide orientation for parents
7 R% L2 x* A: }: {- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

2 G: E) Y3 T* e' d: UQualifications:

6 S# o$ P& T5 E1 \- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
0 W7 b$ ~* N& O& K6 \% t2 W* `- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
, N: X* V; I+ U  `. h1 j* }- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
; Z6 a! Q* E( ^( h0 R9 n- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
