Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009 Y1 J( h C* |# Q

) T. w4 R. s. ]- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
, C4 c: ~* c# d1 @6 @) u preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps* U/ p( Y6 q2 S' j' N
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program* C* n' ?% x D: f
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies+ k- X5 D5 w" G$ M! y/ a9 x& t
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program ! f, x& ^1 e. p( @" k4 K$ k' J6 ~4 L

Qualifications:! }6 `( o7 o6 w, g' W
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood 7 C" Z$ |; ? [, X- X6 `6 L
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
# `& t7 `* {) u4 a3 R W- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
. N% s r4 d& l( I' k- @4 C- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills% f& x8 B M- B( V- n: u
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
: \% I+ s1 T9 k. z* K! h3 z5 i- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
% x' T8 C: j/ R: e/ f- }- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities

1 c; u r& K$ ?+ X: S( _! V3 d- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) ; m5 U, X* _' u6 M$ B
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)

Salary
