Responsibilities:
# W' R) i& c# t& M2 X- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
7 ^7 A: w6 H; t* h9 E% D/ u" u preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
/ |5 } X! D6 t% Q- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program, v- G! ^% D* y, Y! |! @
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
6 s$ r- e5 v3 S- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program + w# R5 V4 r5 s8 G4 b' W U+ G( y

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:. s8 O* ^$ \& [! C
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
6 D/ H2 q b' P$ N' J Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
) Z% Z1 r1 q% p" R- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children- O) W G6 \& Z& r
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
g& F6 D& {9 Z+ n- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- D2 l0 _( g2 I8 |0 t- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
3 m! L3 {; Q. V% J: ^- G- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
. l4 j7 w/ L- F6 j3 r- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) , k& @0 H6 Z8 o; M/ l2 M& X
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)5 @. o8 S6 `9 h$ `- \/ p
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009; O6 Z+ L5 n6 F' Q+ H6 B
- R6 `$ h( s i6 f! j/ y! rSalary: R, h# ~! v: }" `# o+ u+ x0 E
- $14.00 per hour
