Responsibilities:
$ i( Q/ T1 b1 t* S-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
$ N4 T  J- M" a- N( H+ [5 _        implementation of the Summer Camps
! {# P9 g+ C4 g) N9 K( d2 ]& a: k-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
+ j7 q( Y  ~0 c( J-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

4 G8 w3 V4 `1 U. @/ fQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- S" d4 d5 O/ Y8 q0 b* W/ G; o  H-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
9 H2 ^+ f3 i$ E) \( y0 i2 K$ Y-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
3 h6 S" H( I& F1 o, l3 o7 y; p-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
* l+ p3 x. F6 [! c! ]" @5 s-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
0 p, t  i3 a! F$ D! d1 x+ r  m/ ^-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
/ i( q; t# x+ J/ W! V        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
, H  [4 x/ l' Y, j- z-        $14.00 per hour
