Job Description
. i% u2 G, v. q/ b5 J# O- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to . W- y! p5 F% M( ^ L: l
provide services for Chinese community
- i. y% F* C' A" z3 J- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population % Z; }# S' Z* G2 s' }
access to mainstream services4 J* j. q* L H* P5 |
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ' {6 Z. `. w" _( C) u8 ~7 v2 \
social services
9 ?# o5 h c- g9 p: }. \2 Q) @0 y- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies+ \5 `5 D) n; t% s2 C
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members o- c1 g( x3 H# B% ]( L0 G
- update ASSIST website
1 i3 U* T! X k4 L8 j) O; Y- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre3 w; _3 ~7 ^) ]* T" O$ f& j
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

Qualifications
8 C Z# T/ x( J0 ~; X7 J$ ~. `- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ( D- E5 X% y' f7 L
experience and education
$ ?3 M: ~; }+ y1 Z" b- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
/ S' `$ U4 a4 K9 _- experience in community work and immigrant services- O* y! J+ s; q0 f+ z
- experience in website update/design6 m5 O4 |) F4 \7 W
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset, ]8 r8 i+ G9 W5 v9 T
