Key Responsibilities:
) H( Y8 }; @; Y; v9 a To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
, ^1 ^) V0 a$ M; b& ]5 [ To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
) |* \' |( B3 G2 j0 G* D To help promote the program in the community.; Q! k- f) {: [4 W
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
+ H& H( k/ x, n! L; ?; D2 r To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
0 H7 X/ J3 }6 `; W0 ?8 L' f7 c+ |) b# N To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.5 l5 M, b Q( F
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.7 N/ C& s; t4 _+ I
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications: (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
% v* ^& k J( o1 u: k 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
4 Q" p- I0 _5 i) X. k Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.( r- H# R1 t% z9 l, a) s
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Z. Y. Q: C# c: _, l3 n Current CPR and First Aid certifications
; B9 |& o4 J) k# V Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance6 S9 o W8 m, l3 Q
