Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
9 P9 v' @* t) a7 m! w4 j To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
: T2 `1 b( J. c, Z To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
% ]: z; p' p9 s1 S! H- L( E To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
' \# t* m# V2 a! X8 s+ z 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
- S/ D2 q0 j7 j* h; p3 j: L Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
0 ]% ?& m2 p, H9 t Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
