Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
% {& |7 C; b# {  V8 S# |3 C To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
) [4 K3 E9 P' p To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
0 Y% j3 j$ g& d' h; ?( Y To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

6 m- r# m9 ?' l& C7 d" `Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
3 c! ^: c9 K7 [ Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
; V6 ]+ O6 O: F Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
