The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Answer multi line telephone system% T% x% t2 W" C/ k J+ S! w3 F) @5 X
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries

8 U. S% J* A. R4 G/ v, \• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
) W" X: y. E& d9 Z+ R• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
H8 l9 \' W) }! ^• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency

• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset1 H! W+ D( c' G: ?* @5 A
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills & ]+ n6 O% c2 L3 O5 H
