A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors
! F) L& v9 M& I2 z4 U) [• Answer multi line telephone system, A$ J X1 ^3 J
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
E, ]) @8 j/ o" O. G' D3 @• Arrange courier services for all departments
, }/ G) O- I! L: z2 K• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail E1 G% v w/ ]# ~7 d) {6 L5 i% ]
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries& \; h2 b0 P% ~7 g% f
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency " E+ z8 m% Z! h, F) `7 e+ h$ P
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
% T, j4 L+ [1 |2 @& g• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

Qualifications:. W6 f- T$ X" Y9 |* _/ i
, C% [5 {3 P d; W& u
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
5 S& m" U/ f4 L0 `& u; I• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
