Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.* i$ R$ ^7 V! p3 e4 D" m
, n6 V' L/ h) `) |3 `Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.
