EE covers a lot of fields, electronic, electric, control, even IT. You need to specify your EE major. Most jobs in EE require industrial experience. Right now there are two many graduates in the job market. If you don't have experience, it is hard to find a professional job. But if you have summer work experience during our study, you will have a better chance to find a job.

I don't know if you are in canada now or not. There is a book about job perspective in Quebec every year, telling you about each occupation's perspective in the future year. But it only covers Quebec. I dont know if other province has a similar book or not. Electronics consists usually of computer system design, IC chip design, board design, telecommunication, power electronics, etc. There are many companies in canada. If you are in canada, you can find such information from the student career and devepment service  in every university.
